Here are some more pictures taken during Brian and Karl’s jam session on April 10th 2014

The Mackie mixer was used to control the live session monitor mix. The strips of tape are labelled to show what is being fed to each channel.
There were quite a few sets of monitors set up around the room. Here we can see two stacked on top of a breeze block, and there are another pair on the right, doubling up as a makeshift table for Brian’s processing tools!
Here we can see Karl’s working area, including amp, guitar effects, Pioneer CD player and lyric books.
Karl’s amp
Karl’s CD player which he used to feed home-made samples into the mix. Also in view is a capo, a Shure SM57 mic a portable radio and an MXR EQ

Poet Rick Holland can be seen at work on the left, just in front of Brian’s work bench. Leo Abrahams is in the centre. We can see his array of foot pedals, several of his guitars, and on the table at the right-hand edge of the picture sits his laptop full of samples
